Eleonora Karpukhova was born in Kazan (Russia), studied at the Kazan Central Special Music School under K.A. Shashkina and at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire under Prof. V.V. Kastelsky, and completed her music education as a probation assistant under Prof. M.S. Voskresensky. Eleonora has won many international competitions including Dr. Luis Sigall - Vina del Mar In Chile (first prize), Jose Vianna da Motta in Portugal (second prize) and Varallo Sessia, Italia (second prize). She regularly performs in the most famous concert halls of Europe and South America including Salle Cortot (Paris), Saal Gasteig (Munich), Teatro "Gil Vicente" and Fundasao Calouste Gulbenkian (Lisbon) and concert halls in Santiago, Chile.
Eleonora's recordings include a double album recorded in 2009 and a solo album of Rachmaninov's music, recorded in 2014.
